This page is the whole policy. It is written to be read by a parent in five minutes, and it says the same thing the product says.
Delyr has no account, no login, and no connection to us. After it is installed, it does not use the internet at all unless you tell it to. Specifically:
Installing. The installer downloads the AI model, the reading engine, and the starting library from the places that publish them: GitHub (llama.cpp), Hugging Face (the Qwen model), and Kiwix (the Wikipedia-family books). Those servers see the same thing any download shows them: your internet address and which file you asked for. We don't run those servers and don't receive anything from them.
Expansion packs. If you click Download on a pack inside the app, Delyr fetches it from Kiwix's public mirror, once, then stays offline. Nothing downloads on its own. The Library page says so next to the button.
There is no third time.
There is nothing to fill in on this site, so there is nothing for us to keep. We don't run a mailing list.
The site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or analytics. Our web host keeps standard server logs (internet address, page requested, time) for a short period to keep the site running; we don't use them to identify anyone.
If we ever add visitor counting, it will be a privacy-respecting counter that stores no personal data and sets no cookie, and this page will say so before it happens.
Purchases go through a payment provider (we use Lemon Squeezy). They handle the card and the receipt under their own privacy policy. If you arrived through a link from a creator we work with, Lemon Squeezy records that the sale came from that link so the creator gets paid; that is the only tracking involved, and it identifies the link, not you. We receive your name, your email, and what you bought, so we can send the download and honor a refund. We don't see or store card numbers.
Your license key is stored on your computer during install so you don't have to type it again. Checking it is the one time the installer contacts us, and it happens once.
| What | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase record (name, email, item) | The payment provider | As long as we need it for refunds and tax records |
| Server logs | Our web host | Rotated automatically; not analyzed |
| Anything from inside the product | Nowhere. It never leaves your computer. | — |
Delyr is used by children, and that is exactly why it collects nothing. There is no account for a child to create and no field, in the product or on this site, for a child to type into that reaches us.
Email us and we'll tell you what we have about you (if you bought Delyr, a purchase record; otherwise nothing), correct it, or delete it. No form, no waiting period, no account to log into first. Deleting your email doesn't affect a copy of Delyr you already installed, because it doesn't depend on us.
We'll change the date below and, if the change means we collect something new, we'll say plainly what and why at the top of this page. We won't bury it.
